We are excited to announce that we are organizing series of free Chan meditation classes all over Los Angeles county as well as the Bay area in this year.
Starting in August, we are not only teaching Chan meditation class in the parks, but we are also teaching classes at office buildings & conference rooms in Downtown LA, Santa Monica, West Hollywood and so on.
In this year, our goal is to introduce Chan meditation which will help you develop your concentration power. Once you start increasing your concentration power through meditation, you will be able to much calmer, healthier, focused and relaxed.
Each class will be different in its size, style and environment. It will be a great opportunity for you to learn more about Chan meditation which is much different what's been spread in the West. You will experience solid and concrete results in a shorter time. And some classes will have special guest speakers!

What is Chan Meditation
Chan meditation is the most advanced form of Mahayana Buddhist meditation. We follow the tradition of Wei Yang lineage, one of five Chinese Chan schools transmitted by Grand Dharma Master Hsuan Hua. We adapt Chinese Chan training methods to the Western culture and call it "American Chan".
Since 2005, students of American Chan from all walks of life and many continents have been improving steadily from beginner to expert levels, thus enabling them to better cope with the increasing complexities and challenges of modern times.
